Minimalist interior design
Less, but better. Empty space treated as a design element, not absence - every object earning its place. Minimalism reduces a space to its essentials. The goal is not emptiness for its own sake, but a deliberate edit where every remaining object is necessary, beautiful, or both. The architecture itself becomes the decoration. Drawing from Japanese ma (negative space) and Western reductivism, minimalism has been a continuous thread from Donald Judd in the 1960s to John Pawson today. It thrives in spaces with good natural light and quiet materials.
